With a strong record of spinout generation, IPS helps the University of Oregon’s researchers create award-winning new ventures that contribute to the economic vitality of Oregon, the United States, and the world.
Startup companies are a critical component of the University of Oregon’s innovation activities for disruptive technology development. Startup companies are eligible for unique funding sources ranging from federal SBIR grants to private investment.
Startups can have greater flexibility than a university in managing third-party relationships, and may be better suited than a university lab to advance a research project through prototype development and product validation.
We are fortunate to have a robust regional community assisting startups in the South Willamette Valley and encourage you to learn about and participate in RAIN Eugene.
